We have had one full work-day with the Springfield team, and they really are some hard workers - we are already ahead of schedule. We wore out a few of them yesterday, but today was a good day of rest, with a nice children´s program at the mission house. Tomorrow will be spent pouring a house full of cement floors, mixing the cement by hand on the ground. The entire team will be involved in this work. A septic line has to be dug by hand, with some other details yet to be worked out.
Pray for us as we try to find the functions that the Lord has for us in this ever-changing environment. We are just trying to be pliable in the hands of the Potter.
We received a special gift from our friend Jordan at Toccoa Falls, we will close with this haiku, given to us at no expense. (I think you will see why), regarding the yellow flies called tabaños.
Haiku del tabaños
Don´t mess with the flies;
Gringos without socks aren´t wise.
Itchy; I hope they dies
Thank you, Jordan.
